You can choose either - we have been playing front 9 mainly so have started playing the back 9 more as we believe that come finals they will make you play one or the other.

Thud back to earth today.

30 points, not 1 facet of the game did I perform well today.

Yuck, put it in the back pocket and move on to Saturday.

I did birdie the hardest hole on the course, but that actually makes my score look even worse as that 4 points on 1 hole! #-O

Blew the cobwebs out at McCracken last Sunday. Cracking day, course in solid nick with swift greens.

Didnt expect much, and duly delivered 22 points. Consistent crap with 12 on the front and 10 on the back.

Driving actually pretty good, putting improved as I got the pace right.

Irons were fair dinkum woeful. Couple of decent 5 irons and a couple of nice lobs, but on the whole could not get them up in the air. Mucked around with stance but horribly inconsistent swings. Time for some range action me thinks.

Captains trophy yesterday- Stroke round, certainly didn’t add my name to list of winners, I was only 11 shots off the winner!

Actually played a pretty solid round, 76 off the bat nett 73. Missed a couple of 3-4 footers, but also sunk a couple of 10-12 foot putts so that probably evens out, went in the water on 15, that was actually a decent ball but it hit the 100m marker and took a left in to the water. Prick.

I was only really pissed off on the 12th approx 350m par 4, I’ve nailed a cracking drive putting it dead centre of the fairway, pin is back left on a ‘smallish’ green pull out my wedge landed it a foot or so passed the hole and it has dead set ripped back to the front of the green! I generally get a bit of spin with my wedge, 54 and 52 but this was insane, I was filthy as it’s the birdie hole, should’ve been a tap in birdie instead I’ve got a 15m putt, which I subsequently 3 putted and walked off fuming #-O

C grader off 28 finished with nett 62.

Pennant season starts next week. Keen

Where do you play carey?

Had a round at Thaxted last week, geez those greens are slick, rest of the course is pretty dry..... only highlight was hitting the green in 2 on the 14th and making the birdie, rest of the round was forgettable

Thaxted had a Pro-Am the other week so perhaps still set up for that?
Doesn't sound like the water levy is working for them...

I play in the first group 6.57am so the wind wasn’t to bad to start with but it certainly kicked up mid round. Couple of light showers, nothing to bad tho.

45 on the front 9 at the Vines tonight, highlight was a bridie on the 8th, cant remember playing in such humid conditions, even rounds in FNQ were better than tonight, tough to grip the club!

Sounds like the 8th was a nice drive to just inside the 150m markers
A nice 8i down the hill for a 2ft putt

Played today, first time for a while. Played with the old boys, off the middle tees which I never play. Was playing off 10, ended up with 34 points so pretty good day in the end. Was bloody hot by lunch time when we finished!
