I don't think Thebarton is a good option either, I really think the crows need to head back to the ACC and see what they need to get the aquatic centre site over the line.

I honestly think that it's a good result for everyone, the ACC get a money pit removed from them as well as getting access to a new pool facility for this side of the city.

Just need to get through the ACC and the parklands Group.

All I am saying is have the conversation with them and see what it will take and if it's too stupid then no harm done.

Worth a conversation I would have thought.

I just think the cost of the land would be a killer for them. Massive development opportunities for that area.

Not sure if the crows tender could really be considered on a equal footing with a developer.

They can move next door to Adelaide United @ Ridley, what an embarrassment that was.

Is it an embarrassment…...has been great for soccer in the northern suburbs. The already thriving soccer clubs are just gangbusters with players now and Adelaide United do a pretty good job of their community out reach in the northern burbs.

I know its not the prettiest looking facility or buildings but has been great for the local community...….

Looks like the Crows emphasized the benefits of public access to the Oval knowing that they would be out bid by a large developer.
But then Lucas indicated that the public access the Crows were spruiking would be heavily compromised by the requirements of their football teams.
Perhaps that was part of the problem.

We had the same issue at the Aquadome when Adelaide United moved the administration in the 'back end' of the building. They were super keen to use the facility which includes 50m pool, spa and steam room but ultimately they wanted 'exclusive' access to the facility during peak times. I get their need for exclusivity especially in the changing facilities etc but ultimately its a community facility and the communities needs have to come first.

What other spots would they have their eye we think?
- West End Factory
- Current Entertainment Centre if the new City Entertainment Centre is built as promised at the election?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
