What other spots would they have their eye we think?
- West End Factory
- Current Entertainment Centre if the new City Entertainment Centre is built as promised at the election?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Thebby is perfect for them and will cost them less, should have always been their #1 option.

Near the Aquatic Centre would be the logical location, or more towards Melbourne Street where the horses are?

Isn't the Oval and western side going to be trimmed back?

Not really. Just that carpark and community centre. Believe the bomb shelter will be saved and renovated to become a traffic control centre for that section of the tunnels.

Watching some of the exchanges on Twitter is nuts at the moment.

You more sensible crows supporters here don't actually think this is to do with the fact that Marshall is a Port supporter do you?

I do wonder about the aquatic centre and I really think it was worth the time from the crows and the ACC to sit down and work out what was needed to get this through.

Just see how bait shit crazy the requirements are because a development in that area could do wonders. It's needing that love that parcel of land and we all know the aquatic centre is just bleeding money.

I’m seeing Crows fans on Twitter saying that’s it for Marshall’s government!!
Mind you I think the hospital crisis
The ambulance issues
The huge amount of wasted money for a basketball stadium the 36s don’t want
And the Bowden area a Hotel that will be a waste of money
Plus smiling Marshall does what the PM says
So yeah Marshall’s not helping himself losing Crows fans votes

Yeah lots of votes to lose this close to the election. Crows obviously a reasonable supporter base, and that is a fair chunk of votes.

I was only saying what I saw on Twitter
Does seem strange Marshall’s a Power fan Crows put in a bid looked like they might get it and suddenly the Government gives it to a Melbourne company. Just smells like a liberal stink job honestly Bowden a tourist destination

Some people are saying Marshall’s gone in March not just Crows fans
Guys not the best Premier we’ve had as a state

And if Marshall was a Crows fan and the Crows got the go-ahead, presumably there'd also be folks saying that it 'seems strange'.

I certainly don't know enough about the bid process to comment on whether or not it 'looked like they might get it'. But the fact that the Crows' bid had a higher profile than others probably never meant much.

I suspect that Crows fans within Marshall's party greatly outnumber Power fans anyway. I wouldn't assume that Marshall was necessarily the decision-maker.

Not much impact apparently, even said there will be a 2nd oval - which makes sense how the AdFL, SANFL & AFC can all co-exist

I still reckon there needs to be something at the Showgrounds. Such a waste of space and with excellent access by public transport
