Yep, just what I was thinking. Brickworks will be even more chaotic as there will be less parking when/if the Crows move in than now!
Everyone can park at my place and walk the 10 mins.

Brickworks car park is a shocker at 2pm on a Wednesday arvo let alone the crows having a big event on.

Unless they allow parking on the 2nd oval it will be a nightmare.

I was forced to attend Thebarton senior college ( sounds posh just a high school) 2017/18. Believe me the streets around do have car parking but don’t over stay the allowed time . The sticker lickers were making a killing for the council Monday to Friday .
Going to hydrotherapy at Thebarton aquatic centre next door to the oval parks were 2 hours but I doubt from 6 to 8 am you’d get a sticker

Yep I agree, transport, parking not an issue.
Huge facility, close to town.
It makes good sense.

Disagreed, could park in the parklands and walk two blocks, even more appealing on game day.
Thebarton is a complete mess already with no appeal on game day.

2 blocks as opposed to 10-13?
Noone would park in the parklands to walk to Thebby and noone uses the tram for Thebby. Just like noone in the years Torrens played there did.
Yeah, parking in the parklands, walking to Adelaide Oval and making your way to Thebby and then making your way back to the parklands is real practical, could see a lot of the Crows fans and their zimmer frames doing that, take about 2 days.

It's definitely doable, in fact it's favourite now (and my preferred option as I live close by), but distance will be a major factor on how many people they get back to their club after men's matches too and there is no doubt car parking and accessibility will be an absolute mess, it is now without them there, imagine throwing less ground than now, roadworks and the Crows unto the mix!
It'll be interesting to see what other areas are now in the mix.

All you need is a high rise monorail like Sydney used to have and Thebby Oval is a goer. Starts at Adel Oval with stops at the new future sports stadium, then the RAH, then Karen Rolton Oval, Coopers Stadium, dog leg a bit down to Thebarton then turn east and work its way back to the CBD and KW street to finish the loop at Adelaide Oval. Should only cost 10 million billion squillion kazillion dollars but both major parties will announce it as part of their election policy !

You mean like the monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook?
By gum, it put them on the map!
Well, sir, there's nothin' on Earth like a genuine bona-fide electrified six-car monorail! What'd I say?

1km? Not buying land off you.

Nobody is walking from the Southwark to Thebby and back after a game.
