I might have to pull out the old soda stream to mix with my alcohol now
Sodastream is great for the Inmate cider!

My cider of choice is Dickens

literally, for years, every time we were out and the missus asked for a cider, id follow it up with "Dickens!!" and she would repeat it back to me.

she thought it was a brand, like Bullmers.....

I went to re-stock last night and noticed that the price has jumped from $6.50 to $11 for a ten pack, how can they hike up so much in the one hit?

Water with lunch now for me.

Sugar free, you rebel!
I reckon they used to be $9 a few years ago before going to the everyday price of $6.50.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

I’m self employed, I take one week off a year - that’s it. So took it the last week of Jan. Then had a personal tragedy which resulted in two more weeks off.
Get back to work yesterday, enthusiastic & positive wanting to get busy & take my mind off other things. Youngest daughter crook Sunday so give her RAT test - negative. Get her PCR tested yesterday, 11pm last night message comes through that she’s positive. Eldest daughter tests today, she too is positive. They’re isolating upstairs with my wife (who’s tested negative) whilst I’m in iso downstairs - for another week at least. No symptoms so RAT test on days 1,3,5,7. Hope for the best, currently 1 month without pay FFS…

I’m the midst of a clean out & barring a patio heater still in its box ($100) there’s nothing much of note for sale.
