I'm a close contact of a close contact awaiting pcr results

Can I leave the house or do I need to wait until they test negative?

*You're only a close contact if they're positive.

Close contacts
Who is a close contact?
In South Australia a ‘close contact’ is defined as:

a household member or intimate partner of a person with COVID-19 during their infectious period
someone who has had close personal interaction with a person with COVID-19 during their infectious period:

https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/wps/wcm/ ... e+contacts

I live with this person,

So I am free to do what I want even if they haven't got their results back yet?

If you have had a PCR you need to isolate until you are negative.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Yep true.
But if your housemates girlfriends, sister in law, mothers next door neighbour has had a pcr and you haven’t you’re free to go where you like.

I'm in quarantine because my daughter tested positive on Tuesday,
I tested negative on Wednesday BUT, because she lives with me (now down the other end of the house), I have to have 4 RATS, first one yesterday, if they are all negative I can get out of iso on Wednesday BUT she can't until Friday, therefore that increases my chances of catching Covid, so then I'll need ANOTHER test on Friday!
She's positive but has one test, I'm negative but I'll end up having 6 tests!

This shit makes zero sense to me, I could be living with a super spreader but until she gets her results I can do what I like....I most likely have it if she does.

I've lived with a girl before who was also referred to as a super spreader.

Possibly under a different time and context though.

Triple vaxxed, how does that apply if you didn't have your first shot until recently like most kids have. They wouldn't be eligible for the third shot until April at the earliest.

Surely there needs to be a better definition than triped vaxxed? I know that is the go to term but it cant be the rule.

Can't get in unless you do a negative RAT first, is there somewhere in the airport that people will be able to do this??
And will you have to show someone your RAT result?
Otherwise it's pointless!
I currently am required to do 4 RATS before I'm free, but I don't have to show anyone the results, they just go by your honesty, so pointless.

You have 72hrs to take the RAT in WA and only if you are positive do you need to report it. Complete honesty system though
