The first article you linked (MSM alert by the way) describes how 'catastrophic predictions' caused by 'scare-mongering' were wrong. Leaving aside the fact that many people expect governments to plan for the worst case scenario, there's an irony in the media - who were mainly responsible for any scare-mongering - claiming that the whole thing was overblown.

As for Daisy and Apache, given that they have been the chief scare-mongers on this forum, I would've thought that the egg would be plastered thickly over their faces by now - 5g chips and/or poison in vaccines, etc.

The second article points out that '(c)omorbidities, while they may raise the risk of severe disease, are not necessarily the cause of death. The virus itself can be the cause of otherwise preventable death among those who had manageable health conditions'. More or less contradicting the claim in the first article that most COVID-19 fatalities would have occurred anyway, which obviously comes as no great surprise to the vast majority of normal people who have not subscribed to wild conspiracy theories.

The first article actually gave me brain damage

Yes the restrictions totally had nothing to do with Australia's relatively low infection/death rates.

But Joe Hildebrand came from Studio 10! He's right up there when it comes to epidemiology with Ding Dong Drysdale!

Triggered by Elon Musk’s apt comparison of Justin Trudeau’s overreach to that of Adolf Hitler’s, still, there are demands on Elon to apologize for his alleged "Jew-hatred."

Writing as a proud Jewish descendant of Holocaust survivors, whilst, of course, one cannot speak for all the Jewish community, it does prove somewhat difficult to comprehend how Elon’s Twitter publication can be interpreted as being an “anti-Semitic slur”.

Anybody with a shred of intelligence should have been able to discern that all Elon was attempting to do was juxtapose Trudeau’s invocation of his Emergency Powers Act with the Nazi dictators’ Enabling Act of 1933.

Furthermore, anybody with a decent memory should be able to recall that those who are supposedly so very “outraged” by Elon’s "tweet”, were themselves at the forefront of comparing modern-day leaders with Germany’s genocidal despot, for it was not so long ago that when President Donald Trump entered the political arena in 2015, virtue-signaling celebrities, politicians and their mainstream media mouthpiece drew relentless, unsubstantiated parallels between the President and “Herr Schicklgruber”.

So-called comedian Louis C.K, for example, vitriolically asserted in 2016 that President Trump “is dangerous… the guy is Hitler... He’s the worst of all of us... Don’t vote for your own cancer”, and, in 2020, CNN’s Christine Amanpour propagated "the Trump administration –like the Nazi regime – is motivated by a desire to attack fact, knowledge, history, and proof.”

Both Louis and Christine were joined by a plethora of others who jumped onboard the Trump-Hitler bandwagon, including –astonishingly – a group of British teachers who, calling themselves, “Educators for Socialism”, were photographed marching through London in 2017 with placards featuring the President depicted as Hitler, and, not forgetting either Joe Biden himself, who, in a 2020 interview with MSNBC, likened President Trump to Joseph Goebbels – Hitler's Minister of Propaganda.

In stark contrast to Hitler, at no point during his time in office did Donald Trump enact laws enabling the seizure of individual bank accounts and assets, and, at no point did he exercise unconstitutional powers curtailing democratic rights and freedoms.

Trudeau, on the other hand, has overridden all well-founded concerns expressed by those he has been elected to serve by implementing a draconian decree that permits him to do all of those things – Things which, as alluded to above, Elon Musk rightly considers to be Hitlerian in nature.

In sum, Elon should be admired for reminding people how easy it was for Hitler to abuse his democratically elected mandate to inaugurate his dictatorship.

He should not, however, be attacked for using an image to accentuate that history; in no way should he be made to apologize for posting it and, as a man who is a known friend of the Jewish State and people, Elon Musk most certainly should not be slandered as being anti-Semitic.

Rowey not happy that there hasn't been an announcement about football crowds yet, even though Miss Nicola is off to the fringe and it's time for us all to get back to normal.

I'm not sure if Rowey is just that slow but I think it's been made clear that Miss Nicola does not like sport or pubs and night clubs.

He needs to get on line or he'll go missing.

Hail Miss Nicola.

Miss Nicola was down here for the weekend
Relaxing on the balcony in her bathers whilst Mr was doing the BBQ
I didn't see her dancing or singing. She doesn't like those either
