Neither club selected him under the father son rule and he has been boarding in Melbourne for at least two years so no biggy surely when the club with the shallower list is prepared to give him one of their last spots?

Injured for best part of 2 years and was a bit lazy but got a kick up the backside it seems.
Has been training his arse off and has looked ok in the trials. For a free hit the worst thing that happens is he isn’t up to it and gets delisted

We have no small forwards and he has looked ok in trial games so every chance he gets a early taste of it. Will probably spend most of the year in the VFL though
