A very low key mention of Thebarton as potential new site. Nothing new there. Making it sound like they are very much looking at other, more desirable options.

Maybe, although you would think the cost involved would be prohibitive. It is owned by Lion Nathan I think who won't care about community space :)

There is no chance any club could afford to buy the brewery site.

Reach out to the Sheikh, change your name to Adelaide City FC and your jumper to Sky Blue, that'll do it.

Has the preseason changed any ones thought on where they will finish?

Obviously only two games but for mine probably reinforces where most think they are at...…very much on the rebuild, very physically small side. Hard to see them finishing above the bottom four.

The bright side is though they appear to have a few kids who will be very good in a few years time and Rachele who has all the makings of an A+ player eventually.

The preseason should not change anyone's mind as to where anyone will finish.

Adelaide lost 5 games last year by less than 2 goals. Young sides are almost always inconsistent. This time of the year everyone looks like they have improved at times.

FWIW I think they will be in the 10-14 bracket.

Agree about Rachele. He looks quite comfortable already, but like most young blokes, a season against men will take it's toll.

I liked the way Rachele “gave it” to Keays for blasting at goal instead of passing it off

Walker won 2 off his own boot too. Forward half, in fact the key forwards, are a long way off. Fogarty, Frampton, Himmelberg, Walker, besides Thilthorpe none of them are the answer going into 2023.

Tex was sensational against the Cats the bastard. Booting goals from everywhere. Literally could not miss.
