Is Lyon a better player of short bowling than Smith?

Probably an unfair call, but what he does is play the short ball with conviction whilst Smith doesn't quite know what he should do.

What’s the plan if we can get to 500 do you declare then or do you bat all day aim for 600 and bowl Pakistan out twice in three days on a wearing pitch hopefully.

I think you go for 600 and bat for as long as possible. Pitch is playing a bit better now but looks like it might fall apart soon.

Must say it's.been a handy little knock so far from Lyon. He's come out and played shots, moved the scoreboard along, and really that's good value from your No. 10.
