7/448, keep piling them on boys.

Been a good innings by him, reckon the sub continent pitches suit him a bit.

Time to get a move on now and move the game forward.

There banging on about it but there probably not wrong either. Should be showing more intent imo, especially given this could be the one moment this series we have to grab the game with two hands.

Pitch is doing nothing with the new ball, keep batting.

Wouldnt that mean we are going to need more and more time to ball them out.

Hardly think the guys want to be fielding for 3 straight days either too especially given its mid 30's degrees each day. So you would think we are going to have to find time for a third innings.

I dont mind us wanting a bigger score but the intent to get to a bigger score has been a bit ordinary today.

Just like the last Ashes test in Sydney we appear to have an ultra cautious mind frame.

Time will tell mate, have some faith in what they're doing.
Bat once, bat big is obviously part of the Aussies plan and over the years I've seen teams from the sub continent bat this long against Australia and grind our attack into the ground so it's nice to see us doing it for once. Also the Aussie batsman haven't throw their wickets away like some did in the first test which is good to see.

I wouldn't normally mind the bat once theory but its very odd given recent history and us not enforcing the follow on for a very long time. Would be surprised if a hot Karachi was the place we begin using the follow on again.

Anyway hoping Carey can hurry up and get the ton so i can go to bed..........i had a Carey like embarrassing accident yesterday knocking myself out. So the head is a bit blurry.

The commentator reckoned that one kept low. Didn't seem to to me. Tried to hit that one into the Indian Ocean.

Alex Carey innings of 93 runs means a few things

A He belongs at this level
B He has put Australia in an almost unbeatabale position
C Mighty_Tiger_79 will need to take anti depressant medications

It’s the mental thing of getting them in the field for 3 consecutive days

Nah don’t agree…..the mental thing of having openers come out and bat 5-10overs at the end of a day is much worse.

What a waste.
Starc cost Carey a hundred last night, then plays that shit shot.
I'd be livid if I was Carey!

Yup as Allan Border famously said on day 3 at Headingly in 1993 when we were 4/857 at stumps on day 2 (well close enough to 857.....)

"We're batting on to cause them more physical and mental disintegration..."

S Waugh barred up (according to his Tour Diary)

No disrespect Whuffer, But I'll take Allan Borders views on captaincy over yours.... ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
