GWS v Sydney - This will be a cracker but Swannies for me
Brisbane v Port Adelaide - Power will get pumped
Hawthorn v North Melbourne - COVID Hawks a massive opportunity for the Roos
Adelaide v Fremantle - Freo to make it two on the bounce against the Crows away

Yeah I don't know about this.

On one hand it's not a good look for a senior coach to be blowing up at a Journo as it has shades of a Mick Malthouse meltdown / implosion coming.

Then on the other hand these journos are a disgrace and to deserve bit of a kick in the ass. Tom Morris pushes as much shit as anyone and writes stuff targeting clubs and individuals as well.

Not sure at the moment. But one thing that gives me the shits is the way that twitter has blown up in support of Tom Morris like he has been deeply hurt and we must all look after his mental health, come on the guy publishes crap about yes and players and is part of the pressure pile on of many coaches and players.

Nobody seemed to be worried about mental health then.

I agreed with you initially but starting the season off with a game like that excites a new breed of supporter, even those that don't support either team would've enjoyed that game.

I thought he could've been more meticulous, he seemed to just blurt out a bunch of babble.

He had a right to be there and the "You've been preying on us the last two times?" It's round 1 buddy.

The Dogs were were the underdogs, the Dees were unveiling their flag, it was their home game, they are up and running, they are the benchmark and the hunted, accept your loss graciously as there will be more.

Regardless of his question, You could tell it was premeditated.
Bevo had a fair dinkum crack at him.

Yeah, bloody oath, I was trying to remember the last genuine good round 1 clash between them, I think there was one around 6 years ago, they are generally well scripted, Richmond come out looking a million dollars, Carlton show some ticker and get their noses in front in the 2nd and keep within arms reach for a while and then Richmond click into fifth gear early in the last to open up a buffer that they hold on to until the final siren.

Why is Morris a flog?

He rightly reported Hunter wasn't selected, he reported the player, the staff and other players knew that, his mail was bang on. Beveridge has every right to eyeball his staff and find out who the leak is, he has no right to berate Morris like that for simply doing his job.

If that's how bevo reacted to the journo, good luck to the staffer who leaked the selection in the first place. Clearly more to it than this one story though, this seems like he's used this particular story to unload a lot of other stuff.
