I've always been more interested in SANFL than AFL, but it sounds like it is being killed off.
Oh well, I've always been a sports dabbler rather than committed, and there is always another potential interest.

Sports I've dabbled in in chronological order:
Childhood: Judo, Archery, Rounders, Roller skating.
Teens: Golf, Tennis, Softball, Baseball, Wrestling, Hockey, Soccer.
Adulthood: Fencing, middle distance running, Horse riding.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

It's just a contingency plan. I really don't think there will be any players from those top up lists that get an AFL game and they stay with their SANFL club if they don't play in the AFL team. Plus, they only play in the AFL team if every AFL listed player is unavailable. Highly unlikely.

Not quite.

"Clubs may only select an activated player if there is less than 28 AFL listed players available, and it is not reasonable in the circumstances to play an AFL Listed player."

So perhaps all their rucks are out and less than 28 available they can play say Lobbe and some AFL listed players do not play.

the first 4 to be selected will be the ones already at Port or Adelaide (Sutcliffe, freeman etc)
My guess is no SANFL club will be impacted by this

I hope not, imagine a Crows player testing positive on Saturday morning,
then with next to no notice a player is dragged out of their SANFL team.

Nothing to worry about, there's still upto 22 listed players to drawn on before knocking on suburban doors.
Besides the only people getting tested these days are:

1) Kids who want time off school
2) Adults who want time off work, and
3) Those of us trying to get out of family engagements
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

The clubs who are providing Covid backups for the Crows are probably in the better position come finals time, as the Crows are less likely to be still playing in September.

Not sure Port playing potentially calling on Hartlett or Keogh in finals will effect Westies too much...

Norwood at $7.50?
I hardly recognise their league team!
Maybe $17.50

And how can We be $29, everyone reckons we won't even make the finals,
shouldn't We be about $1,000?

The decimal place was accidentally included; we are actually $2 900.
