To quote Mr Boon "since then name a player that has left Port and become a better player at their next club?"

What year did Burgyone leave Port ? ?

Barnaby French 'French was traded to the Carlton Football Club in exchange for a second-round draft selection (#16 overall). There, he took the position of number one ruckman, and proved weekly to be one of Carlton's most important players"

Will Snelling "Snelling who played 1 game at Port in 3 season moved to the bombers where he has established himself in Essendon’s best side in 2020, playing every game and finishing ninth in the club Best and Fairest."

Cain ackland "Played 12 games in 4 years at PAFC and averaged 4 disposals per game, Ackland played 62 games in the next 4 years at Carlton and St Kilda averaging 9.6 disposals per game"

Seems they all improved after leaving as mentioned previously

Snelling ??

Surely you'd need to play a couple of games to even be rated? 9th in B&F @ Essendon where they finished 13th?

Dixon, Ryder, Monfries, Polec, McKenzie, Burton, without thinking too hard I'd say played their best footy at Port.

Wanganeen was a gun from the day he started to the day he finished.

Ryder did, I think he had his best years with us, Monfries probably line ball as agreed, he was serviceable at Essendon.
