How disappointed are you that Agar wasn't selected as you called for him to come in?

Third test starts tonight....

Mid 30 degrees each day, the toss is going to be even more important than usual. Tough enough to win batting last over there never mind being in the field for potentially 4-5 days in the last week.

Yeah given how we rotated the bowlers in the Ashes series I was really shocked to hear we are potentially going into this game unchanged.

I know we cant make too many changes as Cummins isn't resting as captain and Lyon is the best spinner we have so his not going anywhere. Thought Boland could be a good shout on the flat wickets. His accuracy could be a weapon especially on days 3-4 when the pitch starts to break up. Any slight movement and there is a fair chance his getting a bowled or lbw.

Left field suggestion given Head looks a bit lost in the sub continent, would you bring Agar in for him, albeit Agar probably isn't much better than Labuschagne with the ball. From Green down move up one position especially given Carey looked good last innings against the spinners on the lower deck.....loves a sweep which tends to be fairly successful in the sub continent especially if you believe Matty Haydens theory.

Warner
Khawaja
Labuschagne
Smith
Green
Carey
Agar
Starc
Cummins
Lyon
Boland

I guess it depends on the attitude you have. To win we just need to find a way to get 20 wickets no matter how many you do or do not hit. If you knew you were batting first you probably could play the extra bowler knowing you should hit runs on day 1-2 even with that top 5.

Is a win all that important for us, we retain the trophy with a draw.

Personally I want us to have a serious crack at winning, no guts no glory. Lets play aggressive cricket
