Why would we convert a game that we have dominated into a 50/ 50 result?

Don’t hate the decleration but don’t know why you would leave 7 wickets in the shed without having a bit of a slap before the decleration.

Yep agree.
We’ve struggled all series to bowl them out

All series? If you look at the scores it's not really all series and both teams have bowled each other out the same amount, twice. That's more to do with the flat wickets than anything else, which the PCB purposely prepared to try and blunt Australia's pace attack, while also blunting their own attack.

And I should add... we are relying on the worlds worst closing spinner... how many times has lyon failed to produce in a 4th innings?

What do you do then…..play for a draw.

Easy... bat more positively. And declare half an hour later.
Our spinners are not matchwinners so we need to factor that I to any decision.

Already this game is 40/60 against us... 60 mins ago we jad the whip hand

I agree with the bat more positively, crazy to leave 7 blokes in the shed and not have whack. Sounds like a bunch of guys scared to ruin their averages.

Stop lying commentators, this wicket is flat as a pancake, a couple keeping low but its not like Swepson and Lyon will bowl anywhere near the foot marks.

Reckon we should have batted for another 5-7 overs and piled on another 40-50 however there is still nothing wrong with the declaration. We will get numerous chances through day 5 and if we take them we will win the Test. If we drop them then it’s putting us in danger of dropping the series - It’s in our hands…. One thing to note is the Paki’s haven’t gone anything close to scoring 280 in a day this series so if they start now they are also going away from what they know and it opens up. I admire Cummins for backing in his team to get the job done - All it takes is one wicket and things can change quickly.

On another note. Travis Head has a habit of jumping in the air when fielding in close and it’s going to cost him catches as he’s always on the wrong foot. Needs to stop it pronto or get someone else in there…

Good gutsy declaration, better to try to get a result than be negative & play for another draw.
So what if we lose, we'll only lose because we tried to make a game of it, not because Pakistan out-played us.
