Don't think you are far off, but not sure about McAllister. Usually the A1 Wicketkeeper of the Year is an automatic selection in TOTY and recently they have done the same with A2 and sometimes even the A3 COTY. I think Parton deserves to be keeper, but it all depends on umpires votes. A2 COTY is wide open and maybe Chris Moran favourite for A3.
Really looking forward to this week's A1 GF.

Over heard a chat between ATCA big wigs that 2 keepers finished ahead of T Parton in WK of the year, hence he will not be in the side, obviously witha fair bit of Bias we think Tom is clearly the best keeper, Keeps to Grant Carey week in week out and barely makes a false move.

Having played against Tom this year, I would have been very comfortable with him collecting the prize.
Not to be but I guess they've had that system for a while and I'm sure he'll get a crack at it sooner rather than later.

Haha. This makes me laugh. Of course you put yourself in the Team of the Year mate. Classic alpha move.

Bailey got the keepers spot, but Parton picked up first prize in the raffle so things have a way of evening out.

It was all fairly well as expected.

Woody South boys weren't too impressed with Stanborough picking up the 3 votes in the last round when Marion lost to pip Hoffman for the medal.

3x80s a 50 not, and another 2 40s, he certainly hasn't had a bad year. Add in 3x3s, 2x4-fas and another couple of 2s with the ball and you can see why he attracts votes.

Hoffman clearly had a very good year, with 4 tons, generally big ones too (130, 160, 160, 180), then a 90 and a 60. But that's it. Didn't really bowl and his 'failures' were games he wouldn't have grabbed votes in at all.

But it doesn't really matter if you made 110 or 190, you can't get more than 3 votes in a single game. Hoffman's tally of 15 seemed about the mark.

Thought he spoke well. Praised Hoffman in a big way even looked slightly embarrassed/sheepish accepting the award.

What stood out to me was clearly a little bit of bad blood between Mclean & Woodsworth. Should be a fiery game of cricket

He had to be in the votes in all three of those games. Might have been a little lucky to get 3 x threes, but he did, so good luck to him.

Just looking at the ATCA facebook page and it shows Stanborough had 14 votes after round 10 and he ended up with 16. By my calculations that means he got 2 votes in round 11, which is fair enough.

Was a great night. Well done to ATCA.

Stanborough spoke very well. Acknowledged he thought Hoff deserved the medal. but as mentioned Hoff's 15 votes were about right. Clearly helps when you can bat and bowl.

Flipper as always. Brilliant.

Your comment is a disgrace. Only takes a minute to look up his performance in the last 3 rounds to see it was warranted.

IMO he shouldn’t have got then 3against SPOC but umpires
Make those choices. I think Hoffman went large multiple times and anytime you hit 950 in a year you are
Going to be deserving of it. Either way the wiz does it all and we saw that with Fox last year too.
