Pretty damn good, spent an hour at the Halfway (noone rocked up lol) then went to Woodville Oval and Ralphy Sewer shared many stories with me at lunch.
Caught up with a few North Boys in the first half then spent the 2nd half in the cricket club before clapping the boys off.
Gave us no chance today but was stoked, we have some very exciting recruits.
A good day! :D

Good luck tomorrow mate, the only thing worse than an ignorant Port supporter is a cocky Carlton supporter so the world will be on your side. ;)

Probably not been a cocky Carlton supporter since the mid 80’s!

Anyone else encounter problems with Uber lately?
We've been proficient Uber users usually catching up to 6 a week but have had a few troubles lately despite having an exceptional rating.
1) Booked an uber in November the day before our trip to FNQ , it never rocked up and we nearly missed our flight!
2) For the first few years of Uber there was always dozens of cars within minutes of us ready to accept fares, these days we're lucky if there's one within 10 minutes that isn't completing another fare first.
3) Uber scam, had a few accept our job and then message or ring us telling us to cancel the trip knowing they'll get a $10 cancellation fee unlike if they cancelled it themselves. Although it hasn't happened to me I've also heard some accept trips, drive past the customer and claim the fare anyway.
4) They accept a job but after accepting it just never move from where they were usually their home or a nearby Indian meeting place.

Given your behavior on here; I would hazard a guess that you have a poor rating and therefore get a decreased level of service compared to the general population who generally don't have their default setting as egotistical bully.

This really pi$$es me off.
The app says its 6 minutes away but when you look a bit later, they are "dropping off nearby" (which is arguable in many cases) and its now 10 minutes away! I cancel everytime

Had this the other day. Driver asked me to cancel as job was too far away. I refused to cancel as he knew where we were when he accepted the job. Another driver picked us up so original guy must have cancelled. I didn’t know about the cancellation fee so it becomes clear now. Thanks for the heads up.

I went to get one after the footy and it quoted me $113, I went to the Queens Head for a couple of quiet ones and then re-booked, was charged $36 this time.

I did have a trip charged to me that I never took back in November, they reimbursed me and I have now set a pin to use before the driver moves.

Was quoted $39 last week and then a dude cancelled on me right on pick up time, the next quote was $55.

I've heard OLA is better but haven't tried them, I'm tempted to go back to taxis despite my EXCEPTIONAL UBER RATING AS ALREADY MENTIONED in my initial post. ;)
