Stage 2 of the Oval redevelopment I believe

OK thanks.

Well that was an odd game. Both teams were good, really really good, but when they were bad they were horrid...

Given the weather I was expecting a larger crowd.
Glenelg normally travel to Unley in good numbers but I thought they were well down today.
Sturt as well but moreso Glenelg IMO.

Good win by the Tigers then if they didn’t even turn up to the game…

Considering an entire Grand Stand normally accommodating only Sturt fans was not in commission, and there was plenty of room around the ground, I would think the home support was severely lacking. Plenty of Black and Gold today where I was. Crowd numbers are a defunct point anyway in times of Covid. From what I saw, Strut are good enough to play finals but their back 6 get very fumbly under pressure.

They were obviously expecting a big crowd, what with the beer van on the outer wing where no bastard stands…

Must have been disappointed with the patronage on that side 'coz it shut up shop at half time...

We were sat under those trees, there were around 30 people at most in that area - we expected more to show up given the shade. But a beer van is of no use to us!

The crowd in the paper was listed at 2529 for yesterday, but 2674 for round 1 - I’m surprised that they are supposedly similar, I thought there were more than 2674 at the Norwood game, but wouldn’t have hit 2000 yesterday (given the amount of the area that couldn’t be or wasn’t occupied)
i don't feel like dancin'...
