Football Times Query

Postby Benchwarmer » Sun Apr 10, 2022 3:02 pm

I am working on a book about the Australian Football Championships competitions between 1979 and 1986.

I am coming over at the start of June for a few days to do some research through old copies of the Advertiser at the State Library, but I am wondering if anyone knows whether they also have old copies of Football Times on file as well.

I know here in Perth, someone was given permission to scan all the old copies of Westside Football and sell them on a USB stick. I don't suppose something similar has happened with the Football Times?

Failing all that, I suppose I would have to rifle through what Gerry has on hand down at At The Toss Of A Coin.

I bought some from 1979 and a few from years before and after.

What I'd really love to get is a full collection of Footy Week from the late 60s early 70s...I've got about 50 of them; great for photos and individual player stats from each game. They should all be scanned and put on to USB.
