These arsewipes love to tell people they are custodians of the game yet they seek to make it only about the elite few at the expense of all others without a care.

666, stand, protected zone, rotations, subs, 4 interchange, score reviews, mid season draft, pre season draft, covid top ups, percentage that is not percentage, deliberate and especially a 50 metre kick that does a left turn after it's sixth bounce, GWS, Gold Coast, special mention to them drawing 4000 (not a typo) to their game on Saturday, clash jumpers, umpires in every colour bar white, repeated drug violations are ok if you claim mental health which simply demeans any person with genuine needs, if you go in to get the ball you will most likely be the one penalised unless you flap like a chook and do love taps to the football, no Tasmanian side.

We do not watch better football because of all the changes. Leave the game alone.

Great post
Chopping the arms is another rubbish one I reckon, it's very netball like. Doesn't promote strong hands either.

Spot the bloke that played full back in the 90's ;)

Nah Vamos use to get lost and dizzy when he left the forward 50.
I do recall him leaving it once though

Just go back to 4 interchange IMHO.

Fancy armchair having a crack at Geelong. Didn't see that coming.

Strangely though the arm chop ban hasn't increased the goal tally.
Dunstall and lockett would kick a hundred every year nowadays.
Goes to show how good those blokes really were.

Different game these days

They had the luxury any defender who tried to fill the hole they just smashed at the first chance. You can’t do that these so defenders have more confidence to fill holes

Through in the modern day fitness levels and numbers behind the ball and they wouldn’t get that space they used to get.

Also they would both be midgets in today’s game. Fyfe, Botempelli and Cripps are taken than them and Clayton Oliver is only one cm smaller.

Also the defenders would rebound off them something shocking

Could well be round 22 as well
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Today's AFLW Grand Final presents the Melbourne FC with an opportunity to achieve something unique. If they win today they will be the only club to ever be the reigning premiers in AFL, AFLW and AFLX.

Re sub, heard someone say if team A activates their sub through injury team B can then activate theirs any time they like. Don't mind that.

What if team A subs through injury subbing their best player for player 23, yet team B can choose anyone they want to sub after that to suit the game itself? Too much of an advantage to team B.

Either
Get rid of sub rule, game is about attrition.
Or go the complete opposite
Have 5 or 6 on the bench

If team A's best player gets injured, well that's just their bad luck. Of course team B are going to have an advantage if their opponent's best player is injured (which is obviously the case even now).

Huh? You can't have 7 blokes sitting there waiting to come on. You both name your sub before the game.

I meant team B can choose anyone in the 21 to sub off which can be based on form not injury
