Still a long way to go for Carlton

lack of poise, poor options, no separation to create the release from the contest and lack of work rate in the last half means they are still work in progress which most Carlton people would agree with
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Carlton of yesteryear would have lost that so that’s a positive!

I had a little chuckle reading the last couple of pages. But there was no comment regarding the Melbourne crowd yesterday. But the swans in a non afl state gets ripped on here for crowd size

I just saw Sam Powell-Pepper is only 24.
Always loved watching him play but way too young for Geelong's recruiting plans.

Maybe Carlton need to poach 'fittest team eva' Burgess
Dave Warner will be missed!

Piss-farted around looking for the best option, Carlton pressured well though.

When your first look is sideways when the game is on the line you are going to struggle to win.

Hopefully this puts an end to the talk Hinkley has lost the players  Teams don’t come back from 50 points down, when they are 0-4. Would have been easy to throw the towel in, but in the end they should have really pinched it.

Will beat West Coast this week, get some key players back (Alir was under done and will only get better) and get on a bit of a roll. Deal with it at the end of the season.

When your first look is sideways when the game is on the line you are going to struggle to win.

Carlton had first hands at that clearance but the dinky sideways hand ball from Fisher to Walsh when Walsh should have been running a 45 angle to create separation allowed Port to get 2nd hands on it.

last 10 mins wasn't pretty from either side
