R4 Central v Adelaide

Postby DOC » Tue Apr 19, 2022 5:50 pm

Saturday 2.10

Both sides coming off a loss after both had good leads. Adelaide has won 3 of the last 4 games.

Centrals will lose Lange to suspension. Neither side has any new injury concerns (that I know of)

With the Crows AFL side in Victoria a couple will not play. I think if Centrals can offer some consistency then this will be a tight game,

Waiting for the teams but leaning towards Adelaide.

Couldn’t possibly tip us albeit our absolute best is good enough.

Must win game for us though…….1-3 and not having played Glenelg, Sturt or the Eagles would have most thinking finals would be out of reach.

At times this year we have played brilliant football. Outscored West 11 goals to 2 in a half. Kicked 5 goals to 1 against in the first quarter against North on the weekend.

When we play to our best its pretty decent, sadly we cant seem to sustain this for more than a quarter or a half. This is the reason I have been so critical and I guess negative of the side is I don't think there is a magic switch where you go from playing 1 quarter a game to all a sudden being a consistent side.

Won't go and watch this (I'll leave it to the 4,000 crows supporters). Cant stand watching guys like Hately and Milera playing against us.

Harry Grant and J Schiller will be big INS as they provide the clearances that we struggled with against North.
Happy with McCormack and Buechners efforts but the other 3 recruits need to step-up.

Lange has successfully challenged his suspension…

It frightens me that the Crows could get 40 points up at the Bay….honestly can’t see us being competitive for the 4 quarters at this stage. Hoping that Hately might be rewarded for his consistency and at the very least travel to Melb

Agree we’ll be better for the return of Fish and Harry…
