Nice. Hope the boys get the win and she loves it. I took my lad to his first game v GC, their first win in the AFL

I had $500 on Port to win at $1.05

Historic.

I remember listening to that trainwreck unfold driving home from umpiring @ Port Wakefield.

FTR, the line was at 64.5 points and Gold Coast were paying $14.40 for the win.

Turncoat!!

They came storming home.

I remember hearing Josh Glenn's parents jumping on a flight to go watch him play his debut match for Gold Coast even though he was named as an emergency so a late call up was inevitable.

Josh always knew where the goals were and loved to kick them so I put $25 @ 31's on him to kick the first despite him listed on the bench once he was named.

Took all of 70 seconds to hit the scoreboard, it ended up being the only AFL goal he kicked.

Amon dropped? Is there truth to the St Kilda rumour doing the rounds, or just bad form?

I was gobsmacked, averaging 23 disposals and 7 tackles per match I would've thought there were plenty of others closer to the door than himself, my only criticism from what I've seen is his woeful conversion rate.

When you receive a handball from a free you shouldn't be missing from outside 50, most players have a better conversion rate from that range because if you're kicking the ball 50+ metres then you're kicking it flush so it should be going straight.

Carlton, watch this space.

He's been played as an inside mid, last week attended 17 centre bounces for 0 clearances, that's not his game but he has developed his game in the last 18 months and he should at 26 with over 100 games be able to adapt to some time on the inside of the mid mix. He's not a flanker coming in, he's just moved from outside mid to inside and needs to be better. He's had a poor start to 2022, but pretty hard to say any Port player has been good so far this year.

Those 7 tackles per game LM, 0 of them stick.

Him and Motlop play a pretty similar game, yet they keep Motlop in over Amon??? how do you explain that?

10 last week with only 1 free kick does emphasize that I guess.

I haven't been watching as intensely as you would've but have noticed him getting a bit of it but I did think he worked hard against Melbourne.

Either way, I think we've had poorer performers and there's more than meets the eye.

He always barracked for the Saints as a kid and his mum works there, this is where the Crows often get it wrong with their recruiting, we've been very lucky over the years though.

To think at 0-5 we're leaving one of our better players out to take a stance against his contract status is remarkable.

I dont think it's a clear as leaving him out cause he wants out, but how do you explain leaving Motlop in and others over Amon. Staggering.
