It's just the leaves that piss me off and the fact that everyone in my neighbourhood just blows the bastards away from their properties instead of sucking them up.

I hate how people do that, blow them away from their property and then just leave them, it's so bloody lazy.

I'm glad you blokes are enjoying the warm weather we still have at the moment, for me it's still hot and annoying to work in. I'm looking forward to it cooling down a bit so I can get through a day at work without feeling hot and sweating.

Played my first footy game of the year Saturday (trial game) and it was a very, very hot day for footy.

I'm on a heavily tree-filled 3200 square meter block. I just let the leaves lie there.
I pay a guy with a ride-on mower to mow periodically and they tend to get sucked up then...

Well.... :-B

For the first time since 1974, which was the wettest year in Australia in 122 years of data, it looks like we're in for another La Nina cycle making it three consecutive La Nina and will be compounded by a negative Indian Ocean Dipole.

What does this mean? Another wet year ahead for the east coast of Australia, highly likely that there will be more flooding rains on an already soaked landscape and a mild summer with wetter than average forecasts for most of Australia.

Means nothing for us in SA unfortunately. As dry as it’s ever been here on the top of Yorkes. We are all ready to go seeding, just need a proper rain event. 20-30mm would be ideal but take 15mm. Mouse numbers have gone through the roof now so any dry sowing will run the risk of getting it eaten by mice and their numbers increasing further. Bring on the rain!
Also my tanks have ran out so had to turn over to mains water, tastes like a swimming pool.

57 drops here so far, don’t think this is the break in the season we are looking for. Hopefully I’m incorrect and it pi$$es down.

They reduced Adelaides prediction for today from 14mm 3 days ago to 0.9mm yesterday.

Seems like yesterdays prediction is the right one.
