Nup. Players have given up.
This is the worst Essendon side I’ve ever seen. The top ups were better than this lot

LOL, Darcy Fort is the anti Wedgie. A world record of 12 goals 0 points.
I had 0.12 at one stage of my career!

I was very surprised the Bombers made the finals last year with their list.

I am a bit surprised though that they've fallen away so badly this year; I had been of the understanding that they had a good crop of young players coming through who presumably would improve with each season.

What's the story Jim? Crap list? Crap attitude? Fitness issues?

You'll beat them easy. A very good effort by the Hawks against Cats, Demons and Swans IMO. (ugh that hurt)

A lot of all that.
Coaching is poor, list isn’t great but we have the worst development program in the comp. Our kids show a bit in their first year or two and then go backwards a million miles. I commented at the start of the season that our fitness program stinks. We are seriously unfit and have the most soft tissue injuries in the league. I just think the players are also mentally weak and have decided it’s all too hard and have ran up the white flag. Doesn’t help when your leader is a old dud who is only getting picked because he is captain. Need a board spill urgently and a high turn over of staff and players

Good effort but world record, there would be plenty of suburban footbalers who have eclipsed that. It's a VFL/AFL record.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

With 6 clearances today Josh Kennedy goes equal with Sam Mitchell on 1803 clearances for his career, the most by a player since the stat has been recorded.

He also had 10 contested possessions today moving to 3992 for his career, second to Gary Ablett Jnr who had 4000, again since the stat has been recorded.
