Agreed, I reckon 2 and that was light, huge risk of serious injury and he had intent, looked only at the player and not at the ball.

Well if you're going to get a priority pick, that would help your cause.
Don’t want a PP. I want a club clean out
But hang on, you were rejoicing recently after you got rid of Worsfold and Rutten was the super coach in running the show?
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

More to a club than the coach. The club is rotten from the top.
CEO, President, List Management, Fitness staff etc all need to go before Rutten may not be able to coach but we have hardly given him the tools to work with

This sounds like us. Rinse repeat... 'change the head coach and that will fix everything'. It doesn't. Good idea but it takes some ballz to undertake that from top to bottom because someone at the top level has to agree that it is the problem first!

That was our issue. We kept changing the coach, who isn't at the top, despite being the most outward facing resource at the club thinking it will solve everything. Not to say we're even close to it being fixed yet, but at least we acknowledged there was an issue at the top that needed to be addresssed.

A CEO who calls out the players for a pathetic showing only to issue a apology an hour later and who also meddles in coaching and recruitment whilst sacking anyone who doesn’t agree with him. A fitness team responsible for the unfittest team in the comp and the most soft tissue injuries in the league. A club who will happily spend $$$ on advertising and throwing money at useless media emails etc but didn’t start recruiting for our reserves team until 2 weeks before the start of the season hence they are almost dead bottom too. We are more interested in making money than winning games of football but the board secretly has been eroding members powers over the last 4-5 years so much so that the members can’t even vote the clowns off

Gee, imagine having that on your CV:

List Manager, Essendon Football Club 2002-2022

Would make him unemployable, I would've thought.

He literally walked in off the street decades ago and was a club volunteer who obviously weaseled his way up the chain and is still there now. Has slithered on to the board and now pretty much runs the show.
He obviously has the gift of the gab as he now also has a estimated $30m worth of land and property developments

That was Cain Liddle. He meddled in trades (basically promised Ellis from Richmond a trade without discussing it with SOS, our list manager), telling the membership base one thing and then contradicting himself or others in the club the next minute. The mixed messages we received from the club made us wonder who was in charge and what the hell they were doing as a professional organisation.

He also did the same as you suggest, and got rid of anyone who disagreed with him. A horrible situation for anyone working there.

Now that's being tidied up we can start concentrating on on field results.

Brodie Smith didn't get a mark of the year nomination

Lewis Young tribunal hearing tonight, the bump will officially die tonight if he doesn't get off.
Dave Warner will be missed!
