In: Lange Thomson Habel Deakin Cannizzaro
Out: McCormack(inj) Gant Whitlum

Jakob Thomson To debut finally

Good to see Lange back. He’s one we should persist with. He is a goal kicker.

If the last few years have taught us anything we have an upset win in us to give the fans fake hope.

That will be this week imo.,...….Dogs by 14 points.

Yep,

Plus last round against Eagles in 2020.

We are not THAT bad that we cant very occasionally beat a decent side if they don't show up to play.

There is our problem we have to rely on the opposition not being on their game for us to win or be competitive particularly against the very good sides.
We can at times play good footy but we dont do it often enough or long enough.
Billy McCormack huge out ,good luck to Jakob Thomson in his first league game.
Also well done to Fraser Fort on his 100th game he has been our Mr Fixit playing in a variety of positions and been a really good clubman

That's coz we're not good enough yet but like I keep saying, keep this group together and they'll get better, coupled with some more good recruits & I expect we will be playing finals footy regularly in 2 to 3 years from now.

We have no option.
And yes, he did play well in the reserves last week.
He's not tall but has a huge tank & can jump.

He played well in the reserves last season but we kept playing Marsh.
I wouldn't say he can jump like Gazza mentioned.
He uses his bulk at stoppages to win the footy which is why he was 1st in clearances.
He's a good long kick of the footy and usually accurate.
