2022 Australian tour of Sri Lanka

Australia's Test, ODI, T20 and Aus A squad were named for the Sri Lankan tour today.

Test squad- Pat Cummins (c), Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith (vc), Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, David Warner.

ODI squad- Aaron Finch (c), Ashton Agar, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Cameron Green, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Swepson, David Warner.

T20 Squad- Aaron Finch (c), Sean Abbott, Ashton Agar, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Swepson, Matthew Wade, David Warner.

Aus A squad- Sean Abbott, Scott Boland, Peter Handscomb, Aaron Hardie, Marcus Harris, Travis Head, Henry Hunt, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, Nic Maddinson, Todd Murphy, Josh Philippe, Matt Renshaw, Jhye Richardson, Tanveer Sangha, Mark Steketee.

Tour dates-
First T20- June 7th, Colombo
Second T20- June 8th, Colombo
Third T20- June 11th, Kandy

First ODI- June 14th, Kandy
Second ODI- June 16th, Kandy
Third ODI- June 19th, Colombo
Forth ODI- June 21st, Colombo
Fifth ODI- June 24th, Colombo

First test- June 29th
Second test- July 8th

Aus A dates-
One day matches June 8th and 10th.
First class tour matches June 14th and June 21st.

Harris omitted from the test squad, McDermott, Behrendorff, Ellis and Dwarshuis omitted from the ODI and T20 squad, Neser not selected at all and Zampa will be on paternity leave.

McDermott real stiff not to be selected in the ODI/T20 squad.

Todd Murphy selected in the A squad after 2 shield games which were a year apart.

Not sure if that say's he is rising star or our spinning stocks are a little thin

I turned off when KRichardson was bowling pies, his recent international stats would be worse than Agar :shock:

Looking at the highlights Finch survived an lbw shout 3rd ball by a splinter.

Yeah Finch was lucky to survive thanks to ultra edge and made the most of his life.
