He is simply a clearance player, great hands in close but suspect kicking. He is normally cleaner than today though

We are very lucky Port aren’t at the top level. They should be 80 up by now

Reckon you guys are going ok, but my word you stuff around with the ball so much.

You're making it very hard for your forward line.

Anyone know why Essendon are not wearing their indigenous guernseys?

Another pathetic effort from the rabble of a team. The most pathetic Essendon side I’ve ever seen in my lifetime led by a absolute pea hearted captain

If Port played like that against any other team apart from Kangaroos and West Coast they would have been whipped by 10 goals
Win is a win but but that was ordinary by both sides.
Port wont make the Finals and wont whilst Hinkley is still coach.

Seems fair to say neither of those sides will go well in the wet.

First half was the worst half of football we have played in a long time. Utterly pathetic and game was over 10 minutes into the second quarter. Just a mentally weak and hopeless side

Port did well in wet like conditions in Cairns a few weeks back. Apart from SPP's crunching tackles, not one for the highlight reel.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Was at tonights game, think it was more of Port dropping off in the 3rd than the Bombers lifting.

Essendon certainly only have on plan when kicking inside 50 - kick long and high to the hot spot, multiple times there was space and time for their forward to lead into but they simply refused to, very easy to defend
