Just watched the last session highlights, Stokes took a liking to Patel.

Agree they should win from here, but they did elect to go in with a very long tail starting at No.8, so they would not want to lose Root too early :shock:

Yeah that's obviously the key for NZ, get Root ASAP and they'll probably win but surely he'll go on and gets a hundred now to see England home? He is also 33 runs away from 10000 test match runs.
