Sadly North Melbourne 2022 are quickly resembling Fitzroy 1994-96 and we all know how that ended....

*sigh* The AFL were looking to get rid of a club back then. They are now looking to expand the comp to 20 teams.
They’re not getting rid of any clubs, especially those that are financially viable.

Geez mate that's a big call.

Let's remember is a young lad, only played a handful of games and has come back from some hamstring concerns into a team that's getting smashed.

Maybe he's a bit frustrated, maybe he's just bit of a flog and needs a kick up the ass to get going.

Just not sold that he has checked out yet.

Could always be wrong though.

Yep we suck, last year I could see structure, I could see a game plan, I could see effort, this year its clearly lacking and no cohesion which is extremely disappointing. But many rebuilds have these patches - so putting faith that things will improve. Maybe next game? Would be nice as I'm heading to Hobart for it.

As for JHF, its all part of his footy journey, a lot has gone his way in recent years. Confident he will be part of our long term future, no one has been prepared to take my bet yet...

Still think he will stick, but a bit more uncertain now, according to some close to him he is all over the shop currently and that has spilled on field.

Eddies new plan for the Tassie Kangaroos is probably the worst thing I've ever heard.

Oh I don't know... 11 Games in Tassie, 11 in Victoria, that makes 22, meaning they never have to play in WA, SA, NSW or QLD...

Winning...

I knew a bloke who followed Fitzroy with all his being back in the day. Their last game was Sept 1, 1996. He hasn’t watched a game of football since, it literally broke his heart. I’ve followed North Melbourne my whole life, been a member since 1994. I fear that my reaction may be similar to my ‘Roys mate if we were to relocate. You just lose so much of your identity.
Their was far more push when the AFL were trying to ship us off to the Gold Coast compared to now going to Tassie but I’m sure more pressure will come. We need to dig our heels in again. Too much time, money & effort has been put into not only surviving but to establishing our home base at Arden St & becoming financially viable (including being the first club to cease poker machine ownership).
I sincerely hope our president/board have the same guts & ticker that Brayshaw, Archer & Co showed previously.
