Yuck.

Well done to Ben Heaslip on his 100th. Enjoyed the interview (in crystal clear audio of course) on the sanfl podcast during the week.

Tough game against a strong crows team. In fact they were literally too big, too fast and too strong. South’s forwards man handled all day with no reward whilst the crows forwards get the whistle on very limited contact was frustrating at the time but in the end the crows midfielders just got too many clearances. Garthwaite and Gunther had absolute stinkers, possibly due to the above mentioned man handling. Congratulations to Ben Heaslip on 100 games, one of my favourite players. Not a flashy player, just gets his job done as a tackling midfielder who has now gone forward and kicking some goals which has been pleasing. As bad as it seems now, still only a game (and percentage) out of the five so anything can happen, especially if the injured players can get back. Go Panthers!

At the start of the season, I thought this may have been the year of the Panthers. Maybe next year.

I guess its just luck of the draw..South playing against 16 AFLlisted players and down the road Glenelg are playing against a team of top ups

Yeah it is, when Glenelg beat the Crows earlier in the year they had 17 AFL listed players playing.

Me too, thought there’d be plenty of motivation amongst the playing group and club given how close the came last year to go to the next step at least

Hybrids supporters preferring to troll in a South v Crowserves thread rather than post in their own teams’ thread even after a win, wonders will never cease
