Stewart ran past the ball, left the ground knocked the living shit out of Prestia and gets 4 weeks

Toby Greene brushes past an umpire and gets 6

With no bias unlike the posts from Army & Wedgie ;) , going on previous incidents I thought 5 games would be right. I ain’t losing sleep over it but someone on Melb radio thought there should be an extra game added due to Chris Scott’s unprecedented, cringeworthy character reference. Not a bad idea.

Very cringey indeed. If Turnbull and Aleed couldn’t reduce Houli's punishment what hope did that mud flap Scott think he had.

Port will be stoked!

I'm a Stewart lover and the way he conducted himself afterwards was brilliant, 4 was on the mark.

I tend to agree with Kornes a little, if a dirty act puts someone out of the game, the offender should sit off also.

What's stopping someone who doesn't have a great deal of talent going and wiping an opposition gun out early in the match and then getting subbed off for a better player?

Can you trust the muppets to get the send off rule correct?

I can't.

No, an off-field adjudicator would need to make the call IMO.

Given that the incident happened halfway through the first, Richmond were basically without one of their first picked players for the whole match due to a dirty act from an opposition player, given the closeness of the finish the Tiger fans have every right to be pissed off.

It's not about the punishment IMO, it's about evening the ledger from the act.
