North were value 3 weeks ago at $9 & even again last Monday at $6.

You'd get better the all up in the finals.

Don't ask me, I got them at $10 so $4.50 definately isn't good value to me! :D

I like the idea of an AFL mid-season trade period over a draft, but if we must have a draft maybe the gaining AFL club could loan a player back to the losing club in the trade. The idea is that they need the MSD because they are plugging a gap - and since they all have the same size list, they must have excess of a type of player that can't plug the gap on their list. Loan them out.

Not the worst of ideas...…..

Obvious concern would be how easy and quick could an SANFL club cater for an AFL player who needs to move on extremely short notice interstate. Obviously AFL clubs have much larger resources to find a player a home, probably assist and maybe even pay for moving costs including the players car etc etc.

I'm also not sure the AFL Players Association would be in favour of such an idea and would find many ways possible to block such an idea.

Looks like June 25 Norwood v Sturt and Jul 23 Sturt v South will determine the five.

Despite yesterday's result with a game and percentage on sixth spot I still think Sturt will play finals
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Very clever how they've incorporated the Gliderol up the sash in indigenous art form by drawing the garage door pulley system.

Common sense decision, play on.

Sturt did same last year with McEntee.

I wish that the Eagles had excluded Jones fro PA the last time we played. He was a cut above the rest in his speed and power, and nearly won the game for them. All well and good looking out for the player, but surely the club is more important than missing one game for an ex-player.

Wow, love North's, designed by former players Matt and Joel Campbell.

He was not taken in the mid season draft.

I still dont think that is right that a player is taken by an AFL draft and can end up playing against his old team in the SANFL. Smacks of taking good SANFL players to bolster the struggling so-called Magpie team. Port are deperate for a premiership.

the indigenous guernseys Ive seen from the SANFL so far (West, North, Glenelg, South) are all better than any of the AFL ones IMO.
