Another absolute sports legend gone in 2022, KG will be besides himself after Russell Ebert and now Kerls. Very, very sad

A Great of Glenelg a great of SA Football. Vale the King! Thoughts are with family and “his boys” from 67-76.

A sad day 2022 you can bite the big one with sports luminaries you’ve taken so far
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Very sad, hard to think of too many others that impacted the game in our state as Kerls...

I was just telling some good mates that on my way back from a client appointment tonight from Cambrai I saw an Ambulance zing past me on it’s way to Walkers Flat from Mt Torrens. Had a light show in the misty rain in the dusk around 5:40 that illuminated the sky. It’s never good however very sad now knowing that it was on its way to that news…

Did Neil Kerley have an influence at the Glenelg Footy club? You be the judge:

GFC BK (before Kerley) 46 years, 1 flag 2 GFs 7 finals series, 12 Spoons

GFC AD (After Donald (Neil Kerley)) 55 years 4 flags, 17 GFs, 32 finals series 5 spoons

Vale the King, changed our culture, changed our expectations, changed our club

RIP oh Great of Glenelg

Every road accident death is tragic, just seems worse when it's some one well known.
Sad to see the legends of SANFL (When it was at its greatest 1960s 70s ) passing away under crappy circumstances
RIP Knuckles.

RIP Kerls, the word Legend is bandied around a lot, this man was a legend -but that term seems inadequate for the contribution he made to SA football.
Met and spoke with him a few times.. he remembered my father who did National Service with him at Woodside in 1952...
An icon at South Adelaide.....where we have lost some great ones in the last couple of years...Rest easy Neil..
