7 AFL listed players only and not very good ones at that. The rest are bush league players

Also add to the fact that Sutcliffe was there best player and well, he's past it. Would have been a bunch of country players taking on a SANFL side.

Hopefully they keep Lokan as long as possible, maybe promote him.

To be fair to Lokan * he is hamstrung by having to obey directions from above. I flicked the radio on to SEN arounf 4 PM to get the scores at the dinkum games. While waiting for an around the grounds update, the commentary team were actually praising Port for sticking to their game plan rather than going man on man to try and shut the game down. The team wearing the former Magpies guernsey is not out there to win games first and foremost; it is there to train up players for a foreign league.

* although yes, he's still a shit coach. IT is not coincidental that Glenelg's fortunes changed for the better when he defected.

For all I know he may be a crap coach, but it would be a tad harsh to sack a coach on the basis of results whose main focus isn't winning footy matches.

Kenny's the one who sets the game plan.

Magpies & Power = PAFC, not that hard to fathom is it?

For me personally: My club has expanded into a higher competition so obviously the passion at SANFL level has dissipated.
Do I care about PAFC in the SANFL? TBH I'll go to 1 or 2 games a year, keep an eye on the results to see whose performing from the AFL squad.
Do I attend and support PAFC in the AFL? Hell yes!

This would be no different to a lot of SANFL and Amateur supporters across the land rolling in for the 2.15 game, they keep an eye on the B grade and hope they do well but the main focus is always, and always will be, on the A grade.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Exactly, how many SANFL B grade coaches have been sacked over the years due to poor results?

I don’t doubt the likes of you do Booney- the question is how many are left like you as opposed to Vamos (who can’t be blamed for seeing them just as a reserves side.) All pi$$ taking aside, whatever benefits the two AFL sides bring to the table, it’s sad when the supporter base aren’t really invested in them… (other than finals time when occasionally they become the only option left to salvage some success)

Again, this is no different to any other club in AUS. When the A grade is out of the running the supporters get behind the lower grades if they're still a sniff.

Was the worse team they have ever fielded. Plus they tried players in different positions, Dylan Williams down back, appeared Lord was playing CHB or Full back, etc. Even West would have beaten them yesterday
