The Country Championships are being held during the day and this is the last game of the day.

Flying up and back same day to commentate this one for SANFL Now, should be a good game.

Have a good call Phil.

I think Port played their 2/3 years ago which enabled the ground to have an improved surface and amenities.

Have done my research on this one, seeing as though I am heading up to call the game.

Bennett Oval = 171m long x 122m wide

Prospect Oval = 170m long x 120m wide

Adelaide Oval = 167m long x 124m wide

They did, indeed. Against the Doggies.

Also as a part of my research, I found out the following:

Bennett Oval:
- Saturday is the 3rd official SANFL game played here for Premiership points, the last 24 years ago back in the season of 1998
- Back in 1995 the Eagles 20.16 (136) def Glenelg 4.11 (35) and in 1998 Port Magpies 15.5 (95) defeated Central 13.14 (92)
- 1998 saw Adelaide Rams and Illawarra Steelers play an NRL game and 2020 Port and W/Bulldogs played an AFL preseason game

That 1998 Port/Central game ... IIRC port had a shot on goal hit the post, but was awarded a goal for it ... right?

Hard to tip, North weren't flash last week. Think the Crows might knock them off here to the tune of 11 points

The controversey I seem to remember as a tennage kid was a Johnny Platten kick for goal supposedly travelling past the entirety of the goal line but the strong breeze blew it back into play and the score was not registered?

Both sides coming off a loss. Some big inclusions for Adelaide with possibly at least one more to come in. Adelaide by 23 points.

North haven't been their best in the past month or so, so I'm expecting the Crows to comfortably win.
