Apparently there's a kick over the Torrens comp coming up.

I've lost respect for Sloane and luckily I had none for Tex anyway but when they made their statements about the camp they surely knew how others were treated and what happened. Opposite of what leaders should do but obviously we're more keen on their futures than looking after their mates.
Terrible.

I've been through a lot in my life and employments which left me shaking on occasions.

That statement from Josh Jenkins had the same affect, how horrific for these players and the aftermath that their families would have endured

Well done to Josh and of course Eddie for bringing this all out finally, heads have to roll and no doubt various legal actions could well begin

wonder if any others will come to the fore now, lets hope so

What ever happened the the pre season camp in the front bar of the pub

And also seems like Jenkins had the balls to speak up and with the help of the adelaide media he was painted as the bad guy and ran out of town.

Surely Sloane is done as Captain.

Roo would be hard pressed to see our the weekend in charge.

"We'll have our staff (who your players will call "Richmond"), walking around with fake guns, putting players in harnesses, berating them about their past, that sort of thing."

"Sounds great, book us in."

Who from the Crows was directly responsible for this complete farce?

Relocate to Tas?

Seriously if there is a cover up by those in charge, make it public and let them stay. That would be enough penance for me.

Obviously speculation but its fun….. seems the truth lies somewhere between there was 7 players as part of group 1 who were subjected to next level actions on the camp….:who are the 7

Betts confirmed
Jenkins confirmed

I don’t even know if the timeline fits but……
Charlie Cameron
Ellis Yolman
Hugh Greenwood
Sam Kerridge
Mitch McGovern

Charlie Cameron wouldn't of attended the camp as he was traded to Brisbane during the 2017 trade period in October, the camp was in January/February 2018.

This is from an article by Sam McClure he wrote in the Age in 2020.
Players were divided into three groups, based on their playing experience, prior to the journey to the camp. Group One, consisting of the more senior Adelaide players, namely Eddie Betts, Matt Crouch, Richard Douglas, Bryce Gibbs, Kyle Hartigan, Josh Jenkins, Tom Lynch, Rory Sloane, Daniel Talia and captain Walker, were the target of the most severe regimen.

The second group, consisting of Mitch McGovern, Curtly Hampton, Paul Seedsman and Brodie Smith, had a less severe experience, though it was still described as "weird".

The third group, consisting of the more junior players, were subject to what was deemed to be a regular fitness camp.
