'84 wouldn't have happened that way if Alan Stringer had not gone berserk in the Qualifying Final though. Glenelg lost Peter Carey and Central lost their whole half back line through suspension (Hannan, Nolan and Thomas) as a result of reacting to Alan Stringer throwing a series of haymakers (can't believe he didn't get pinged but four others did!). Instead, the third best team that year ended up with the flag

Agreed, a bit similar to Chris and James Gowans. Wonderful people off the field, terrific players on it, but boy did the three of them ever suffer from white line fever! ;)

Both sides coming off tight losses but Norwood were without Nik Rokahr.

Crows at home but how interested will they be coming off a Mad Monday?

Crows not having Mad Monday until the SANFL team is done.

I reckon the loser of this one goes out in straight sets & winner knocks off North in the 2nd semi.

15, no more to come in over coming weeks....can only hope for a couple of injuries to the maggots

should be a good game, Nw midfield gets a huge boost, Ravens miss a couple from midfield. Outside runners favours ravens?

I know the Crows finished higher on the ladder but wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to have the Crows in white shorts and Norwood in blue shorts?

Anyway, looks like the professionals by how much at this stage.

PS Any chance they can wear their AFL home guernsey next week against the red team?
