Really? Wasn't aware of that, was Gotch sick?
Did some of Gotchy rub off on Hartlett or has he taken things in completely a different direction?
More of a transition IMO

Hope he's not lost to the state again.

Fact is West really looked like they were on the way up with results in the last couple of months as did Central 2 years ago.
West should have beaten the minor premier 2 weeks ago and beat Norwood last week!
That after being a basket case previously (by their own supporters admittance).
Yeah I know, wah wah wah, troll, bait, blah blah blah. Sorry for having an opinion. Almost as bad as some of the sooks in the AFL forum.

I disagree,
I think we were in a worse place 2 years ago under Andrews & shudder to think where we might be today if he had "stayed"
I don't want to follow a club full of drug-taking back-stabbers!

There ya go, that wasn't too hard. From the outside looking in Central were a much more formidable outfit late in that last season under Andrews than they have been when I've seen them since but I appreciate you were have a much better understanding of goings on behind the scenes (I know nothing of back-stabbing or drug taking) and as long as you and other Dogs fans are happy that's all that counts.

I remember Central getting quite a bit of praise for the way they were playing.

Won just the 3 games all year, against West, Norwood (who were not Finalists that year) and the Eagles.

My mistake, you lost to the Bays by 1 point, thought you won by a point, Dogs were playing good footy then though. Was a marked improvement at the end of the season. Similar to this year with West the results might not look great but there's been huge improvement as the season has gone on.
Just looking at the match thread for when you beat the Eagles and it looks like you, southern bulldog and Gazza all agree with me.
Think your reserves were minor premiers too.

Get your facts right 7 have just announced on the news. Anyway most people close to the club probably knew. He hasn't been the main Match day coach for 5-6 weeksMJP1993 wrote:Blacky wrote:Brad Gotch not to coach Westies new

Blacky I’m sorry your club is losing its coach the way you Improved the last 5/6 weeks was impressive.
What I thought was strange on the 7 sanfl Telecast they announced it way before anyone else not good for your club .

Wont cost Westies much...
Will be paid $600k next year from Essendon for his contract.
Adam Hartlett seems the logical choice.
Maybe we will see a return to the good old days with his brother as a playing (senior) coach?
