NFL Season 2022-23

Postby DoublebluTiger » Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:44 pm

Starts up this weekend.

Many points of interest. I'm just glad that it's back.

I'm not holding much hope for my Seahawks but I'll be interested how our rookies fair in the real stuff and of course the first up match up against Danger Russ and his Broncos. Roger was smart in getting this game out early as the Seahawks are likely to finish last in the division and not be that good.

I really hope that the Bills can take it out this season.

Outrageous game in Cincinnati. The Steelers lead the whole game until the Bengals score a TD to tie it as time runs out. The extra point to win it is blocked by Pittsburgh, off to OT we go. Cincy have another chance to win it but the 30 yard FG attempt is wide, real wide. Pittsburgh’s turn, Boswell’s 57 yarder hits the post, still no result. The Steelers defence holds up again & give Boswell another chance to win it, this time from 53 yards - it never looked like missing. Unlikely road win for Pittsburgh.

NY Giants 4-1........huge win over the Packers with a banged up QB Daniel Jones and superstar HB Barkley getting injured.

Sadly, though sit 3rd in the NFC East however with the Eagles 5-0 and the Cowboys 4-1.

Haha Raiders!

Only they could have two players run into each other when trying to win the game.
