Ross "still" the boss
Perhaps with several women on our board Ross wasn’t keen for any “digging” that would be required as part of the selection process ;)

And that's the problem right there.
He doesn't want to talk about it because maybe there was something in the freo investigation.
If I was a board member I'd want to know.
He won't/can't say so that rules him out of coaching full stop.

It was common knowledge he made an inappropriate comment to a female staffer at a Freo function. Were there other allegations?

How could he? The only way they could get him on board would be to simply offer him the job and make it impossible to say no to the deal. He's hardly going to invest in a 4 or 5 week process.

I think allegedly following said person around all night and making numerous comments on her breasts coupled with a six figure payout to the victim that clubs might want to delve a bit deeper

He is more than entitled to apply for it like anyone else but I’d be absolutely staggered if any selection panel considered him the best candidate

Yep. Probably would earn the bronze medal IMO, after Ken Hinkley's last couple of contract extensions of course.

Yze, Hird, Lade and 1 other did their interviews today at Ernst & Young. Still a few more to go through in coming days but yes a pretty narrow field

Still some at the club who want him back and apparently talked him into going through the process. I would hope the panel would cross his name off pretty quickly though
