Tom Hawkins wouldn't get away with that one and the umpire was in the perfect position

As if the AFL give hoots about local footy
Shows they clearly don't but I'm guessing it's a twilight game so it doesn't clash with the Sharks v Rabbitohs NRL semi final at the SFS tonight?

I thought it was to allow Collingwood to get back to Melbourne tonight to prepare for next week
Ah yes that too.

Collingwood got the rough end of the stick against Cats and Swans, be a tough one to swallow as a Pies fan

If the game finished at half-time, we would have all been claiming that Sydney had been murdered by the umpires. As it was, Collingwood still ended up with 33% more frees for the match (20-15). Unfortunately, as the game wasn't close in the first half, no one really worried too much about the first-half umpiring. Yes, Collingwood had the rougher deal in the second half, but all-in-all, umpiring was pretty bad for both sides.

If you told me at the start of the season we were going to the grand final I would’ve laughed in you face. But I should’ve known….
Ruby born 2012 - grand final (premiers)
Amelia born 2014 - grand final
Noah born 2022 - grand final
