Naw, from all of his work colleagues we wish Matt all the best on Sunday. May he have a blinder no matter the actual match result.
Matt is an incredibly nice person, as well as being one heck of a player... definitely my equal-favourite non-Central player, alongside Jonno Beech.
Am blessed to know these two wonderful young men.

Matt nearly became a Bulldog!

It sure wasn't for want of trying by a few, especially Big Phil. :)
Matt told me that the distance to training at the Ponderosa was what stopped him joining us... he is not alone in that regard ;)
I still think we were up against it in trying to get him to join us - Matt is a very loyal young man. I would normally 'hate' Norwood winning a flag but I could tolerate one tomorrow, only for Matt :)
Btw, Matt did become a Bulldog - a Western Bulldog, so I still thank him very much for that ;)
A Bulldog in winter; a WTDCC Eagle and OICC Wolf in Summer!

Game day.

If it was going to be sunny and fine then North would tear Norwood a new one.

It's going to bucket down. Close all day, then North's fresher legs to see them inch ahead by 23 points.

Bucket down?
Not according to the radar, or forecast.

Bit of pressure on North 1s now having thrown away two flags already this weekend
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Today's conditions are reminiscent of the 1979 GF (PAvSA) at Football Park, furious westerly, once Port had the lead it seemed to be endless repeats of Greg Phillips (I think) punching the ball into the outer.
