Interesting deal to be struck.

Brisbane have picks 14 (1161 points), 33 (563), 44 (362) and 69 (49) - 2135 points. Probably get end of round 3 compensation for McStay. Around 500 points - 2635.

If as expected Will Ashcroft is called at pick 1, that equates to 3000 points. They don't even have enough for him let alone getting Dunkley in.

They'd be into a deficit for next year ( spending 3000 and only having 2635 ) and would lose a late 2023 pick. So, who do they send to the Dogs?

Interesting watch.

North were too cowardly to bid on Daicos at 1 last year so don't expect them to do it with Ashcroft.

They’ll lose McStay and I think ship off Jared Lyons, two potential second rounder’s

Even if they do they barely cover a pick 1 bid, let alone satisfy the Dogs.

In theory they could offer next years 1st for Dunkley (probably not enough) then let this years draft play out and if need be go into deficit next year?

Obviously the misso is going to try and push a move to the firebirds so she can be back in her home town...

Gold Coast should just jump in and do a straight Dunkley for Rankine trade.

Don't think clubs can trade players to clubs without their consent?
