I wonder why they played Ellis if he isn't even in the T20 WC squad?

Finch probably has to go if we want to play Tim David Michael

Aus adding another string to his bow having him open which is a surprise, he hasn't really played much T20 cricket even for Perth, only 15 matches.

The pitch was a road and the outfield was lightning fast so apart from Axar Patel the bowlers had it tough.

With the t20 world cup coming up you would think we will see plenty of chops and changes in players roles to see what works or doesn't work.

Yep, Finch said in a press conference on Monday they'll be experimenting and chopping and changing a bit in this series in preparation for the WC.

Ellis is playing because Starc has been rested for the current series due to a minor knee injury. Marsh and Stionis missing too replaced by Sams and Abbott.

....and this my fellow poster, is exactly why teeball is a load of complete and utter gobshite. You've got the worlds best players all batting like Shane Warne. I'll have a Squizz at the world cup but **** watching this meaningless crap in India. Horrible format that only lasts until everyone's attention spans are ****** enough to turn to the hundred.

And just to make you even happier about the whole thing REB the second match in India was last night and due to rain/wet outfield the game was reduced to just 8 overs a side!

My daughter woke up at 12am and 3.30 for a feed so while I was planning to watch it I didn't see any of it lol, only highlights this morning.

Aus 5/90 (8)
Wade 43* (20)
Finch 31 (15)
Axar 2/13 (2)

India 4/92 (7.2)
Rohit 46 (20)
Zampa 3/16 (2)

India chase it down and win by 6 wickets.
I watched the last half of India's chase, they were in control but it was a pretty close game going down to the last over.

T20 tonight Aust Vs Windies

be interesting to see what the Aussies put on the park.

Perhaps a chance for Finch and a couple of others to get into some batting form
