Butters has rejected any adavnces.

“The big talking point out of the weekend was Jason Horne-Francis and how do Port Adelaide and North Melbourne get a deal done,” Cleary told 7news.

“We can tell you that North Melbourne has officially asked for Zak Butters, but it won’t be happening.

“I think that call came in late last night or early this morning for Zak Butters to request a move to North Melbourne, he’s knocked that straight on the head.

“He won’t be moving, (he’s got) two years to run on his deal at Alberton.

Nothing like a quarter chicken and chips with a cone for lunch.
Staple diet at Lefevre High.

Wow, a fish and chip shop that also sold ice creams?

It was Black Rooster or Eltheton Takaway for us, Black Roosters chips were quality.

What was the joint called right on St Vinnies and Church Place? Used to be my go to when I lived up that way, I reckon there's a domino's there now.

Good news for Port. Makes you wonder if it was a first rounder plus Butters they were looking for.?

Is he really that 'good'

Average 1 goal a game, 10 possession, 4 marks a game tallish forward

As a comparison Daniel McStay averages 1 goal a game, 10 possessions, 4 marks a game.

Michael Frederick has produced almost identical stats as well 1 goal, 10 possessions, 4 marks.

Statistically Todd Marshall has had a better year and his the whipping boy of the club.

In a short answer, yes, he is.

He is going to be a star down the track, of course Marshall had a better year, Marshall came of age and shut all of his critics up, Mitch will be even better than him in a couple of years.

Comparing him to Frederick is nonsense, Mitch takes pack marks, Frederick irks me, I remember the Dawson showdown, Freddy kicked a goal to put us a few in front and did a bit of showboating, I looked at my lad and said "That's gonna come back and bite us"

Georgie and Butters are non-negotiables IMO.

Is this due to the points for Ashcroft....

How they going to acquire Dunkley surely they are going to need at least one first rounder for him as a minimum........

Yeah agree. If JHF is worth two first rounders Josh Dunkley has to be worth every bit of that....only 23 already a star of the game imo, versatile and could be one of the games best in a few years.

Yes yes yes im a massive Dunkley fan boy.

I know he stated Brisbane but as his destination but surely GC have to at very least enquire and try and make a play with the Rankine pick to come plus their number 7 pick and most likely plenty of salary cap space.

Given Dunkleys partner isnt even in Brisbane yet i wonder if he will be willing to spend another year at the dogs if a trade cant be done.

Is 25 (will be 26 at start of next season) not 23, but that probably doesn't change your point.
