Abbott's Rustic White or Helgas 5 Seed. Gotta be Tip Top or Wonder White for a snag though.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Anyone on here got an automatic coffee machine?
Not the cheap pod ones but the machine that grinds the beans automatically.

If so what brands do you recommend as the prices differ a lot.

DeLonghi is a great machine.

I wasn't sold on the idea of an automatic machine about 12 years ago, so I went 'refurbished' and I've still got it. It's brilliant. The site I got mine from isn't there any more but the concept still exists.

There are other sites that have refurbished ones or you can obviously buy new as well from anywhere - JBHifi, Good Guys, Harvey Norman.

Yeah I’m looking at the DeLonghi range.
But they range from $800 to $3k.
The specs seem very similar so just trying to work out the differences here.

I’ve a Delonghi ECAM 23 I think it is, got it about 5 years ago. Cost us around $900 at the time.
Automatically grinds the beans, makes a very good coffee as long as you maintain it (descaling, cleaning etc). We also purchased a small milk frother, which is simpler than using the inbuilt steamer.
Can’t complain with our purchase and use it every day! Can recommend.

Gotcha.

Friends of ours purchased this one

https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/delonghi ... e-ec9155mb recently. They love it. Note, this one is manual where you have to froth the milk yourself using the machine.

I've got the old model of this one, the Magnifica

https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/delonghi ... ecam22110b

Pretty much indestructible. In saying that the frother doesn't work. That was my fault for not cleaning the machine regularly but I too bought a frother from Nespresso store in town for $99. Of course, that's if you want frothed milk. In summary, I press a button, I get a coffee. It grinds the beans, and delivers a coffee. Bingo!

Cheers, I do get that.
Now I understand how frustrating that is, I’ve seen others do it plenty of times [emoji23]
