Manikato Stakes :

Paulele should be favourite and is, Bella Nipotina will make him earn it and I wouldn't leave out long shots Streets of Avalon, he'll be on pace and at the Valley we know that's where you want to be and In the Boat could surprise if it can get away from the barriers and Sweet Ride or Rothfire not pushing it along too much early and I hope Coolangatta gets the seat behind it as that's what I'll be backing.

Coolangatta, Paulele, Bella Nipotina, In the Boat, Streets of Avalon
PAFC. Forever.

One of those runners I don't trust, have no reason not to ( it's run behind Baller was full of merit ) but I can't have it. Those runs down the straight are a lot different to the hair pin at the Valley and it's drawn mid pack, if it can get out early it might go ok.

Tryna pick anything at Money Valley is a nightmare.

FWIW, our dickhead trainer has yet to put Lefty @ MV, it's a course where I think he would do well as he performs best when he sits behind the leaders, and his record in Melbourne is far better than it is over here. But nah, lets plonk him in some poxy 1200's over here when we already know he isn't a 1200m runner.

He has really missed the boat with this one, my brother and I try and work out his signature F*** Up, there's been some rippers.

My fave was when he needed a scratching to get a run at Flemington to get in the field of 14, he was the first in line, trainer said if there's no scratchings by Thursday night he won't take him across.

Anywho, he didn't take him, there ended up being three scratchings Friday, a roughie won it and it was a horse Lefty had beaten previously. He nominated @ Morphy, it got called off as it was a million degrees and the TAB broke down everywhere, they ran Monday instead and due to his good form they whacked 14kgs under the saddle, the saddle fell off mid-race and he made the news for it!

He was due to run at Flemington in the race before the 2020 Melbourne Cup, he got stagefright and scratched him early, we wouldn't have cared where he finished, it would've been a fair buss for everyone (including the horse). Thye know when there's big crowd.

For me tonight.

R2 #3 Regardsmaree, black booker of mine at its best it’ll storm home and chase down So Si Bon. Horse very much like Port Adelaide the gap between its best and its worst is the length of South Rd!
I also like #6 Winning Partner

R4 #10 Yowie, watched a trial she looked awesome. I’m on.

R5 #3 Taunting, should win but to short for my liking. Drifts to $3.50-$4 I’ll jump on.

R6 #6 Night Passage, I backed it last start, should’ve won. Depending on the odds is if I’ll back it up tonight.

R7 #10 Bella Nipotina, really keen on this filly definitely haven’t seen it’s best. #8 The Astrologist, this horse has been kind to me and Fred can pull off big wins. #2 Eleven Eleven pending the early shuffling can run a race at odds #7 Rothfire loves a good track will be in the mix and I can’t leave #14 Coolangatta, Jamie Kah could ride a broom stick and win!
No room for the favourite #5 Paulele for me.

R8 #8 Claidheamh Mor looks good, but I like the #3 Accountability at big odds.

Good luck all.
